Driving Arizona is a Contracted Third Party Driver Liscense Training Provider through the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division (MVD.) In addition, all of our trainers are contracted Third Party Driver License Trainng Providers and educators. As such, you will receive the highest-quality driver's education training program in the State of Arizona. In other words, you'll be getting the best bang for your buck!
For starters, you'll receive hours of classroom and in-car training that will aid you in your efforts in preparation for the driver's license Final Evaluation. Additionally, you'll also be better equipped to operate a motor vehicle on today's roads. And, as you already know, the more training, practice, and preparation that you receive and obtain in anything, the better; and more proficient you will become at that skill. Driving is no different. Finally, if you are a customer of an insurance provider that offers such a benefit or program, you will receive an insurance discount for attending our Third Party Driver Liscense Training Provider program.

Yes. Each trainer keeps their own schedule, so if the date and time are mutually available, there are usually no restrictions.
Yes. The trainer will pick the students up at the scheduled time and place. At the end of the driving lesson, the student will be dropped off at the place arranged when the lesson was scheduled.
Yes, for the Skilled and Intermediate Programs. MVD requires the student to receive 10 hours of behind the wheel with a Third Party Driver License Training Provider before we can give the final evaulation at the end of the Beginner Program only. If the student passes the evaluation, we will issue a certificate that they can take to MVD to receive their driver liscense.
Generally, we prefer to go in 2 hour sessions with one student in the car. There may be instances when a student is finishing up a lesson and will stop by to pick up, or drop off another student.
When the student schedules a separate drive session with a tranier there is a two hour minimum drive time. The student can schedule one additional hour to be added to a two hour session that is part of a program. A 3 or more hour continuous session can be scheduled if the student and the trainer agree to schedule that amount of time.
Yes. Parents, spouses, or siblings are more than welcome to ride along and observe our teaching methods and the students' progress.
The student will be given a contact card with their trainer's name and phone number on it. Students should call or text the trainer to arrange lessons as soon as they have their driver permit.
You can arrange hourly lessons in 2 hour blocks.
Yes, upon successful completion of the program, the student will be given a certificate with our information on it for you to submit to your insurance provider. Talk to your insurance agent for details about insurance discounts offered by the various companies.
Scheduled driving lessons that are missed due to the student neglecting to give notice (call or text) to the driver trainer within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment and results in a no call no show situation and will result in a $30.00 fee payable to the driver trainer before the student will be reinstated to continue their driving lessons with Driving Arizona, LLC.

  • Traffic Survival School

    Traffic Survival School is an MVD mandated or Court Ordered class. You need to complete Traffic Survival School if you have received a Corrective Action Letter/Proof of Assignment or Court Order. Call 480-777-7303 if you have any questions.
